The Indian American rookie driver Akshay Bohra will start for US Racing in the Formula 4 race season 2023, starting with the upcoming race weekend in Barcelona as part of the Formula Win-ter Series and the Italian Formula Championship being the main program of the season.

“I am extremely happy to finally confirm that I will continue my partnership with US Racing after racing with the Team last year in Italian F4 round at Mugello. After starting my season in the Formula 4 UAE championship, I am very excited to finally start my season this weekend in Europe with the last round of the Formula Winter Series in Barcelona. Our main program will be the Ital-ian Formula 4 Championship.

We have a full program this year but I am super excited to finally start the season and I am very much looking forward to the upcoming Tests and races and the many different race tracks this year. I want to improve myself as a racing driver and have good races that I can build up on”.

Gerhard Ungar: “I am happy that Akshay will continue to work us this year. I believe Akshay grew a lot as a racing driver over the last couple of months as he was able to make more experiences in the Formula 4 car and in Formula racing. I am sure that Akshay will have a big potential in his first full Formula 4 season and we will see some strong races of Akshay this year”.

Ralf Schumacher: “We are very happy that Akshay is again part of US Racing this year. We will have a packed calendar with the FWS and the Italian F4 Championship but I believe Akshay gets a great opportunity to grow as a race driver in Junior categories”.
